This is the final piece I created for my local solo show. It might be my favorite! I’m calling it, Wish.
I love the extra poof in the yellow.
You can see here that I quilted the background first, then did the appliqué, and finished with a facing.

I love it! It reminds me of the fluffy stage of dandelions where children “make a wish” and blew the seed heads away (only to cause MORE dandelions in your grass! LOL!)
