This and That

I picked up a couple new dies recently. I thought they would be fun to use with the boys. These are great for cutting shapes from craft foam.

Oh, Willy Boy!

This was the moon a few nights ago. It’s been very hazy here from the wildfires in Canada. I wonder if that is what caused the moon to appear red.

After seeing the Hmong appliqué piece that my daughters sent a photo of, I did some looking online at more pieces in this style. So interesting!

And finally, I’ve been auditioning fabrics to go with these blocks.

I’m still undecided.

    nice pic of willie. an orange moon – how cool. i love the applique also. i know that i’m strange, but i like the stripe fabric with the blocks, even though the more tame fabric looks fabulous also and i’m sure is what most people would choose. good luck choosing. patti in florida
