Improv Again

I’m trying to take a bit of time out each week to work on improv stuff. It stretches me creatively and I need that. You’ll be happy to know that I’ve altered my color palette slightly!

I’m working with strips again, but these are cut about one inch wide. I am slicing and inserting the red strips into the wider blue one. I cut the blue one right next to my machine so I don’t get pieces out of order.

Next I lay the red strips on top and run them through the machine.

No time for changing thread to a matching color!

I don’t press anything until the strip is done.

Ta daaa!

Only a gazillion more to go….maybe not that many. My attention span isn’t that long.

Have a great day!

I like how it’s starting to curve. Reminds me of a Micheal James piece.
