No, I’m not back in Michigan, but I did a lot of sewing when I was home and wrote posts that I could schedule later. Thankfully, there isn’t snow like this here in Arizona!

I love the design of this quilt. I’m not as in love with the quilting. I don’t think it fits with the vintage style.

You can see that I did add my pink binding and it pleases me to no end!

The backing is an ancient white on white piece I had in my stash.

Snow….yuck!

I knew washing would help and it did. A look at the back reveals that part of the problem was not keeping the quilting density the same across the quilt.

I’m much happier with the front of the quilt.

I don’t think I’m done with strippy quilts yet. Have a great day!

SO pretty! Love the quilting design you made on it!
Lovely runner! I love the pink binding too 😉
I adore this quilt and your quilting really has a vintage feel. It’s just so pretty!
What are the dimensions? Is it lap or crib size?
This is a favorite!
Fabulous! Hope you don’t mind if I link this post with my monthly minis on Sunday. I know everyone will love seeing this one!
I really like it! It turned out beautifully. The pinks work well giving it dimension, You’re very creative.
