I’m using this fabric kind for my secret sewing project. I never save selvedges, but it felt appropriate to make these into a pin cushion.
I slid my pieces back and forth until I was happy and then sliced off the extra.
I used scraps of the actual fabric and used a scrap of white for a foundation.
I used this thread because it was handy.
Then I just top stitched each piece down.
When I got to the end, I flipped and sewed another pink piece.
Now, wait a minute……now it seems way to big for a pin cushion!
So that’s epic fail for you! Hmmmm….to be continued…..I think…..maybe….

Well, whatever it turns out to be, it will be cute!
I made a Pinnie a couple years ago and then was a little obsessed with making them!!🧵 During the beginning of COVID I was making masks and actually remembered to keep the selvages. I had so many I made several wall hangings and table runners!!🧵
Maybe now its a mugrug/mini quilt? Very cute.
