Sometimes it takes me a while to get back into the sewing room after a trip. So I decided to make something small. These are the dies I planned to use.
I say planned, because I didn’t need the HST one since I found enough already cut in my spare parts bins.
I did use the 2 x 4 inch parallelogram to cut black scraps.
Just 12 little blocks.
Time to decide on a border. I really like this claret.

Wow those are very striking blocks – so pretty!
I have a parallelogram die and have never used it. I think it is time to cut up some scraps and use it.
The paralellogram is nice: no sewingline in that beautiful dark blue fabric. And that in combination with a lot of different white’s.
