I want to thank you all for you tips on English Paper Piecing. I grabbed my container for our trip to Daughter #3’s last weekend and gave it another go. I tried the ladder stitch method this time and am much happier with the results.

I forgot to grab different thread before I left, but it’s still an improvement. Here is my first one.

Still a long way to go, but at least I’m headed in the right direction.
Have a great day!

Beautiful! Instead of packing lots of thread colors I use a basic neutral gray thread. It blends with most any thing.
Just lovely colors in your little rosettes..aren’t hexagons fun??? hugs, Julierose
SEW glad you found a method that you liked!
They are looking so good! Enjoy your Mother’s Day. Hugs,
Hi Katy! I’m going to have to go read the tips as I’m still in the not-a-fan-corner. Maybe I can be persuaded too. Happy Mother’s Day to you. ~smile~ Roseanne
They look great, Katy! My stack of hexie flowers is growing. I have no idea what they will become, but I’m finding the stitching very relaxing.
