Something New

I’ve been wanting to make a quilt like this for ages.

I even bought this die from Accuquilt to help me out!

BTW, there is a GO! version of the die also.

Since I’ve redone my family room in a patriotic theme, I’ve decided it is time to get to it. I cut out the pieces below, but I’m not sure this is the final version. Should the feet be blue? Maybe I should add some navy.

I need to see if I have some navy to try out with this. The background will be white and I’m thinking about a sawtooth border.

    Wow, this is wonderful! I do think the feet should be navy. It would set them apart from the body color and tie in an extra blue that you might need elsewhere. I have always loved the 4 block eagle quilts too. Can’t wait to see it all laid out.
