After ironing all those ties in my last post, I decided my project would be small! I wanted to use this die from Accuquilt .

I cut pieces of fusible interfacing a big larger than my pieces.

Then I cut chunks from the ties and ironed the interfacing down.

And cut them out with my die cutter.

Now to decide on a layout.

Have a great day!

Each way looks great. This was a great use for the ties.
Fun! Just curious how many layers of ties/interfacing you can cut at one time.
The second one makes your eyes travel.
Love the layout #2. Look forward to seeing your final quilt. I have more ties from the quilt I made for son #2.
Since it’s for a challenge, I would go with the more complex #2 pattern. Just sayin’
This is a great idea for a tie quilt! So much fun seeing what you come up with!
Love this idea!
Cute! And the pieces you cut look like little ties, Aren’t you clever!
