Red and White

This is another beautiful quilt pieced by my friend, Donna.

I learn something with every quilt and this one was no exception. The backing is batik and I hadn’t done a quilt like that in a while. I had to do a bit of ripping in the beginning, but once I figured things out, it was smooth sailing!

I needed to use a size 18 needle and loosen the quilt on the frame a lot. Then it was easy peasy. This is the panto I used. It is from Urban Elementz . I loved every the texture it gives!

    I love that the pants you used makes the large pinwheels/stars look like the are moving!! Could you find out the pattern she used? It is a beauty!
