I found this little tin of squares when playing with my four patches.
I had cut them with this die from Accuquilt.

So I decided to put the 4 patches away until I’ve made some more.
I spent a good chunk of the day yesterday taking Harry in for his checkup and retiming appointment.

Since my dealer is a couple hours away, I waited for the service to be completed and drove home after. I did a little shopping at Tuesday Morning while I waited and found these goodies.

I also stopped at a quilt shop and picked up a new thimble.

I tried it out, but I’m still getting used to it.
I can’t believe I forgot to show you these lovely fabrics that I received as a gift from my friend, Donna!
Hopefully I can get some serious sewing in today.
Take care!

I had to laugh when I read your post. I thought I was the only crazy one sewing together 1 1/2″ squares! I also mentioned this in my blog post today. I am not alone!!
Those squares in the enamel pan look so yummy!
The library card fabric on the left is so unusual! I remember the days of the card catalog so well and actually missed it when everything became computerized.
Enjoy those small squares. It makes me want to work on some, too.
Even your days away from the machine are so productive. I hope Harry is humming now.
