We had a wonderful, but very busy weekend. By last night, I was itching to play a little. So I grabbed this little container of random 4 patches.
These will finish at 2 inches.
Here is one option.
And another.

But I will probably play a little more before sewing them together. Or maybe they’ll just get put back in the tin. Either way, it’s nice to have little bits like this laying around!
Have a great day!

This gives a new meaning to playing with blocks! I’m sure that it will be lovely, whatever you decide & whenever you get around to making it.
Looks like a lot of fun!!! I’m playing with the same size squares for a Christmas project. Hugs,
I have a similar pile of half square triangles in various sizes. It feels like 2018 might be THEIR YEAR.
P.S. The green-edged enamelware container is great!
Spontaneous improv quilts (no destination, no deadline) come together quickly and easily. Some of the best!
I’m sure whatever you do with those “bits” will be lovely to behold! 🙂
Hi Katy,
It all looks like fun, innocent play time to me and one that could become quite productive as well. Sometimes you need to let the creative juices just chill a bit to see what your subconscious comes up with. I look forward to seeing where it takes you. ~smile~ Roseanne
