I only set three goals for myself and I was able to accomplish two of them. I’m gonna call that a win!
Here were the goals I set for July.
1. Finish Vintage Star quilt. Done!
2. Finish the Vintage Daisy top. Not done.
3. Finish the solid tumbler quilt. Done! I’m calling this, Let There Be Light.
What else did I get done?
I finished this Ohio Star quilt.

And I refolded all of my fabric. That was the biggest job of all!
On to August. I would like to:
1. Finish the little quilt that I am currently had quilting.

2. Finish my Shenandoah Stars quilt.
4. Finish this top.

As you can see, I’m still finishing projects that I started in Arizona last winter.
And I have one more Arizona treat coming this month……my dear friend Zenia from A Quilted Passion is coming to visit me in Michigan! Woo hoo! Who knows what kind of shenanigans we will get up to?
Have a great day!

Ohio Star quilt is beautiful but the tumblers are gorgeous. So many goals, so many pretty things to work on. I hope you have loads of uninterrupted sewing time, because I am looking forward to the fabulous finishes 🙂
Great finishes, I especially love the Ohio Star! Have fun with Zenia!
Congrats on the gorgeous finishes! Good luck with your plans for August.
What a productive month!! Best wishes for a finish-filled August.
You accomplished a lot and you have realistic goals for August. Did I just say AUGUST?? How did THAT happen? Not that I’m complaining. It means we’re that much closer to the end of this exhaustive heat (October).
Hi Katy,
I would definitely call it a great month. While you didn’t finish one quilt on your list, you substituted another beautiful one in its place. Win, win, win! Looking forward to what August holds. ~smile~ Roseanne
You have really made some beautiful quilts or finished others. They are all wonderful. I really love your Shennadoa Stars quilt! Hugs,
Lovely finishes! And your HST quilt top is really pretty, too — good luck with your August goals!
All beautiful quilts! You must have quite a pile by now. How nice a friend is visiting.
Beautiful quilts! That is a lot of stitching to fill your month 🙂 The stars are yummy.
Gorgeous finishes and a very productive month… way to go!
I so enjoy seeing your progress reports — so many pretty quilts! Have fun with Zenia; I hope the two of you find many fun things to do!
