I hope you all had a great weekend. I attended a small shower for Daughter #1 on Saturday and presented her with both quilts for Baby E. She loved them! I have already shared the Dino quilt with you and Friday I will show you the finished shirting quilt.
But this is what is on the design wall today.

I also have most of the top done for the Intrepid Thread challenge .

I may add to this. The rules of the challenge allow me to add some of my own fabrics. I’m thinking I will make it into a pillow. Not my usual thing to sew! But as I have been working on this, I have been contemplating its end use. Each year, I am asked to donate to a local quilt show/sale to raise money for Habitat Humanity. I think this would make a great item to donate.
My big project for this week, though, is this:
These are curtains for Baby E’s room. I will be remaking them and adding some appliqué to match the quilt that I made.
I have lots of housework to do today before I can sew. So I best get to it. I hope you all have a productive day!

I love making curtains! I’ve made them for my kitchen, dining room, and living room. I want to make a pair for my sewing room next. You are the most productive blogger I follow – you always amaze me at all you accomplish! 🙂 Thanks for sharing at Main Crush Monday!
Your star blocks are beautiful!
Love your stars Katy ! You chose fantastic fabrics !! I’m so impatient to discover your quilt !!
Good luck for the curtains ! 🙂
great stars with great fabrics. what a lovely quilt they will make.
good luck with the curtains – I’m sure they’ll be wonderful.
I’ve been sewing stars all week, too. Seems to be a theme across QBL recently, but so many different takes. I love your vintage look here. I also admire that you sew outside of just quilts. I do, too. Curtains were one of my “gateway drugs” to quilting. : – )
I’m glad you are the one doing the curtains and not me. Somehow, I always do something wrong when I try those! It amazes me that in looking at your stars, I don’t think I see ANY of the CW fabrics I have in mine! I like the light/dark alternation in yours.
The crosses mini is perfect. I bet it would do well as a pillow. Hope you get time to finish off the curtains.
Love the crosses piece. It’ll make a great cushion. Good luck with the curtains ( and the housework) xx
You have a knack for making those stars appear truly vintage. Love them all!
Housework–yup, have to get off this computer and go do some of that myself! : )
Love stars in any color! Especially love your challenge, can’t wait to see it finished! Good Luck!
Beautiful stars–love our fabric choices. Good luck with the curtains
I love your stars (no surprise since I’m especially partial to CW repros). And I like how your challenge project is turning out. I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of magic you’re going to work on those curtains.
