I finished binding my Downton quilt last night while watching some tv with my hubby. It was the perfect end to a great weekend. My big sewing job for this week will be to come up with a plan for the Dino quilt and get the top together.

There were 8 different embroidery/appliqué designs in the set but I don’t want to repeat any in the quilt.

Daughter #1 wants me to add some of these designs to the curtains as well.
I also looked back at my UFO list to see what I could finish up there. Once again, I pulled out these calendar blocks. But I have an idea now for finishing these and it shouldn’t take long. Some WIPs wait a long time to get finished. I made these blocks in May 2010!

It will be nice to get this one off the list.

Very fun dinos! Good luck with the UFO.
Finishing UFO’s is so rewarding……. I have some from 2005… The year I started quilting……
How big are the dinos? I can’t get a sense of scale. They are very cute.
I am working on getting my ufo’s finished. I love your blocks and look forward to seeing how they come together.
I couldn’t get the link from Judy L’s link up to work but I managed to get to your home page. Looking back I am inspired by your mug rugs. We have to take four coasters to guild in December so I am looking for ideas. Thanks for the tips on binding!
2010 is nothing. I have UFO’s going back as far as 2001. Admittedly they are mainly tops to quilt but there’s still some that need a bit of work doing
