I have two Quilty finishes this week. Both are Quilts of Valor. The tops were pieced by members of the Stitching Sisters QOV group. First is this medallion quilt.

I love the 3d effect this one has!
I have been trying all week to figure out how to quilt this QOV top. I like the first option best but the blocks don’t line up quite right for a perfect grid.
I am using Adobe Ideas on my ipad to “draw” on my photos here. these are screenshots of my doodles. I am probably going to go with the straight lines. I would need a longer ruler than I have to do the angled lines.

I really like the second option for the quilting. Whichever you choose, I’m sure it will be beautiful and very much loved by the recipient.
Sorry, the blocks don’t line up correctly. I’ll have to see where I went wrong when I get it back. Terri Bertalan
I don’t know which quilting option you should use, but these are wonderful quilts for a wonderful cause! The recipients surely will love these!
I really like the feathers on your first quilt! And that’s a neat way to try out quilt patterns.
You do beautiful quilting. Great job!
That medallion and 3D quilt are spectacular. Good luck on choosing a quilting pattern for the final one.
Wow that eagle quilt and your quilting is amazing! Interesting seeing your process with finding a design for the second one!
Hello Katy !
Well how can I say ? Your quilting is perfect as usual for the first quilt. The 3D is really incredible !! Love it !
And, if I can give my point of vue about the third quilt that you are going to quilt, I should give the second choice of quilting ! But it’s my idea …not yours ! And you are the quilter in chief !! :))))
Have a great day !
I love the second sketch. And the 3D quilt and the how-do-I-quilt-it quilt are both stunning.
Wonderful designs! Love the colors in your last pictures! Very rich!
Oh that 3D effect on the second quilt is amazing isn’t it, it really makes it look like they’re floating!
