Block Swaps

Have you ever taken part in a block swap? I am involved with an ongoing swap in my local guild this year. Today I got the blocks back from our first exchange.

Aren’t they fun? I haven’t decided yet what I will do with them. I may make 4 more and that would be enough for a Quilt of Valor.

I am also taking part in an exchange with the Small Quilt Talk group. We are exchanging 3″ finished 9 patches. We each make up to five sets of ten blocks. I finished mine and sent them off to our swap hostess today.

I really love these little blocks. I may have to make some more because these would make a great bed quilt!

I have the pattern now for the next local swap so I need to get to work!

Linking up with My Quilt Infatuation for Needle and Thread Thursday. Have a great Thursday!

  1. Fun blocks! Those 9 patches are so tiny, but very cute.

Those will make a great QoV quilt and LOVE the little 9 patches!! Block swaps are so much fun. I’m working on a quilt right now with swapped blocks from several years ago.
