Quilting has been my reward for getting housework done this week. I spent a couple hours before work yesterday working on the log Cabin Quilt of Valor. 
I decided to do a bead board border design. 
And circles in the inner border. 
I am using this Handi template which doesn’t feel all that handy. 
Perhaps I just need to get used to it. I am using a spiral of diagonal lines in the logs of the log cabin blocks. 
Our big Thanksgiving dinner is tonight. Tomorrow, Daughter #3 will be with her boyfriend’s family and Daughter #1 will be working so it will be quiet around here. I plan to stay in my pjs, drink coffee, eat leftovers, and quilt! Linking up with Lee at a Freshly Pieced for WIP Wednesday and Sew Fresh Quilts for Let’s Bee Sewcial.

Very nice quilt – love the yellow. I wondered how people quilted such round circles. I recently tried quilting some double circles with my home machine and they ended up looking like squashed apples, LOL. oh well, there are curved piecing in the top so I’m taking artistic license and calling the quilting ‘organic’
