I have another little work in progress this week.

I was influenced by all the wonderful little windmill quilts made by Kathie at Inspired by Antique Quilts. These blocks will finish at 4 inches square.
I am really loving the vintage aqua and red look lately. I like the vintage colors much better than the newer versions in such lines as Miss Kate by Bonnie and Camille.
I have been practicing my free motion feathers with scraps of batting and bits of pieces of leftovers fabrics on the long arm. I didn’t want to take my practice stuff off to quilt my tiny posy quilt so I loaded it like this:
I used magnets to attach the backing to the idle bar and the belly bar. Now I need to figure out how to quilt it.
I am linking up with Lee at Freshly Pieced for WIP Wednesday and Lorna for Let’s Bee Sewcial.

I ordered the template set Kathie referenced, as well, and last night I was cutting out windmill blocks to use as leader/enders. Mine are in CW repros, but my colors are red, blue and black. Interesting to see how close our color choices are. : )
Your little posy is very cute!
Do you use red snappers?
Quilt that cute little thing with some feathers of course.
Those are really cute blocks, Katy! I love the colour scheme you chose. And your flower pot piece is so sweet, too!
I just love these blocks, oh my the fabrics are wonderful! did you use the new template from the set you ordered??? can’t wait to see how you quilt that cute little quilt
Kathie
I love that block – I am thinking of this for a future quilt
