Finish it up Friday

Here is the bigger of the two little quilts I made earlier this week.

I used vintage scraps for this one also. The squares finish at 1 inch. I used part of a vintage table cloth for the backing.

What a great idea! I’ve got a small stack of vintage scraps that would work wonderfully in something like this! Whoop whoop for you!

What a good idea with the vintage tablecloth! You know I’ve looked at a LOT of these at flea markets but I’m not one to use tablecloths for their intended purpose. Now I will look at them with a different eye. Thanks for the idea!

You are so clever. Love the vintage tablecloth on the back. Takes me back to when I was a little girl. Just a precious quilt!

Wonderful finish! Really like the off set square quilting (not sure if that’s what one would call it but it is very cool!). Ummm. . . if someone (no one in particular mind you) remembers a vintage table cloth just like that being used on grandma’s table, does that make them vintage too? 🙂 Great idea, it looks fabulous!
