I had the day off yesterday and I did my best to make the most of it. In the morning, I finished quilting my friend’s big quilt. I am really happy with how it turned out. I sure hope she likes it too!

It’s hard to find a place to take a good picture. I I used nearly 2000 yards of Premosoft thread from Fil-Tec on this quilt. It has over 186,000 stitches in the quilting. The panto is called Ground Cover and is available from Urban Elementz.
In the afternoon, I watched Baby E while Daughter #1 had an appointment.
And last night, I made 6 receiving blankets for him. Daughter #1 likes the weight of receiving blankets but Baby E has outgrown all of his. She chose flannel and I served the edges to finish.

Today I am working at the library and tonight I get to watch Baby E again.
I am linking up with Sew Can She for Show It Off Saturday.

I squeal with joy!
The patttern is fantastic and your work is awesome..Almost as much as Baby E.
There’s some marvelous quilting on your friend’s quilt!
And I cannot disagree … Baby E is so adorable!
I agree with both the previous comment. Baby E is adorable! Hugs,
Ditto what Lois said! I have been looking for the perfect leaf quilt design. . . this might be it!! Going to start doodling on a much smaller scale 🙂 Love this quilt!
Holy Guacamole! That quilt looks massive, Katy! I really love that quilting pattern. And lucky you to spend alone time with Baby E.
