That’s how a quilt is made or a basement remodeled. I finished trimming triangles.

I ended up with about 180 of them. They are cut to 2″ so they will finish at 1 1/2″.
Lots of filling of holes, cleaning and putting up new drywall happened in the basement this weekend. There is a lot more to go. We also purchased our flooring and started putting it down in the office last night.

We chose vinyl planks. If the basement should ever flood again (the horror!), we can take up the planks, dry it out and put it back down. They click together. It sounds easier than it is! Yikes! It took FOREVER to get this little bit done!

What beautiful little hst’s! And I really like that flooring.
Glad things are coming back together, even if it’s slowly. Ugh, I feel for you!
Great progress. The dry wall is the part I like the least and hey you’re working on the floor already. Just think of how nice it’s going to be in your new space. Love your triangles.
You’re making progress … on both counts! I can’t wait to see what you decide to do with all that HST blocks … one thing I know is that it’ll be adorable!
