Today is Daughter #2’s baby shower! I can still hardly believe she is pregnant and Baby Q is due in just 7 weeks! Here is the quilt I will be giving her today.

Sorry for the not so great picture. It rained all day yesterday so I couldn’t get outside for a better one. Here is a peek at the back:

I actually had this made before she was even married and put it away. I got one of Son in Law’s shirts as well as one from my dad and included bits of these in the label. I need to get one from my Father in Law for future use!

And yes, if you’ve been counting, this is the third quilt for this baby!
Here is a sneak peek at the shower decorations.
Linking up with Sew Can She for Show Off Saturday. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Good day, I saw a quilt you made on your daughters post on facebook and fell in love! My home isn’t finished yet but I’m bringing a 50s Florida ranch back to life, down to the restoration if terazzo floors. Wall hangings and art haven’t intrigued me yet but I would love to see your modern collection or something very similar to what your daughter has posted.
Thank you!

Awww, I really like this! Especially the label. Very sweet.
I really do like this quilt. There is just something so comforting about a shirting quilt, especially one made from dear ones’ shirts. Just beautiful!
I know you’ll have a wonderful time at your daughter’s baby show today. I hope you’ll be able to share a picture of her with the darling quilt. It’s not only wonderful; it’s an heirloom. I would give anything to have one like it for my boys. Too late for that, though, as they themselves are already 50 and 44 years old and all the dear grandpas are long gone.
Have fun at the shower! The quilt is wonderful and again so is the quilting! What a great idea to have pieces of shirting from this babies family. This is very special.
Another great shirt quilt. That label is so cool. What a treasure, I LOVE it! The ducks in the wine glasses are adorable!! Have a great time at the shower. And two on the way, the cousins will be close in age, how sweet!
Awesome to use pieces from family members’ shirts … it’ll make it even more meaningful!
Aw….such a meaningful quilt. Great idea. Love the label. Enjoy the baby shower.
