I made a bit of progress yesterday on two different projects. First, the solids project. I got the top together after a bit of trimming of the blocks.

Unfortunately, the top was a few inches shy if the size required for Quilts Beyond Borders.

I added three inch borders after I took this photo and got it loaded onto the frame for quilting.
I cut all the corner triangles for the album blocks also.

Now I have 59 more blocks to add corners to.

And this is what I am listening to while working:
Hoping to get a little quilting in before work today. I am linking up with Connie at Free Motion By the River for Linky Tuesday.

Beautiful quilt top and your little block looks perfect! Thanks for sharing.

Your work is lovely. In fact, I look forward to each post because you are so talented. I have found several patterns for the album block. What is the unfinished block size, please? I want to cut some blocks to showcase my Civil War reproduction fabrics. Thanks!
Perfectly done.
Your solids quilt is wonderful and those blocks look a little intimidating. . . Yours look great!
Love the solid striped quilt! Awesome job!
That gray is perfect! I can’t wait to see it with the borders.
Lovin the stripes with the gray-looking forward to see how you quilt it.
Super cool! Love! 🙂
Saying Hi from the linky party, nice bright quilt!
Very nice quilt top. I like those bright stripes on grey background. I found you through the today’s linky party. Greetings from Greece. Christine
