Saturday

Yesterday was a beautiful day here! The sun was out all day and the snow is finally gone. I finished the last of the album blocks, except for the corner triangles.

I had to get more background fabric and I actually have enough to make 4 more blocks. Hmmm….

We colored eggs with Daughter #3 in the afternoon:

The really creative ones are hers. Do you see Mary Poppins in there?

I started a new project with the jelly roll of solids that Daughter #1 bought me for my birthday. They came from JoAnns. They are not accurately cut. I think they will be fine for the idea I have in mind.

This is not the final layout and I have quite a few more blocks to make. This should be fun to quilt.

I found this in the yard yesterday and it made my day!

Today is a big day that we have been waiting for for a long time. Our church is doing an egg drop for the community. Tens of thousands of eggs will be dropped from a helicopter onto three large fields. There will be bounce houses for the kids and many giveaways are planned. It will be all hands on deck today! If you are interested, you can find out more at saginaweggdrop.com. I pray that many in our community will feel the love of Jesus today.
