I nearly finished the quilting on the tumbler quilt but was stopped by thunderstorms in our area.

And no, you can’t see the quilting at all! I changed my mind and went with this panto:

You can get a peek of the back here.

Now to the design wall. I have had these two unfinished pieces for a while now and thought I would finish them for a small show that my art quilt group is doing.

The one shown above needs a facing and hanging sleeve. This next one I am not so sure about.

I think I never finished it because I am not sure I like it. Maybe it needs something else….this is my real design quandary today. These need to be ready to go by Wednesday evening.
Linking up with Judy at Patchwork Times for DWM and Marelize at Stitch by Stitch for Anything Goes Monday.

I like all the quilts. Maybe what you don’t like about the third one is the top proportion. Mask off a bit of the top and see if you don’t like it a bit better.
all of your pieces are really pretty and the quilting is fab!!!
whoa! Those are two great pieces of art! The quilting shows on the back, and if you use a quilt you see the back as much as the front.

I think they are all awesome! I love the two modern ones — its not a style I’ve tried but I just might. Beautiful quilting too!
You are moving fast on the tumbler quilt! I am in my minimalist phase, so I really like the bottom quilt. Interesting contrast between quilting and shapes.
Great quilts. 🙂
That tumbler quilt turned out so nicely! I love it!
I love the stripy modern, great colors and mix. What thread did you use on top for the tumblers. I just got a tumbler die and can’t wait to use it. The thread looks really thin, great panto.
I think your third project is positively awesome! The simplicity of it is wonderful! I hope you post the finish as I am very intrigued to see what/if you add to it! 🙂
