I finished another QOV this week!

I also received the kit in the mail for the Quilting Treasures QOV Challenge for the HMQS show in Utah this spring. These are the fabrics:

This is my favorite of the group.

The red fabric looks quite pink to me, not a real fan of that one. You can see the quilt I made for last years challenge here.
Saturday is a national sew day for Quilts of Valor. We are nearing the 100,000 mark for quilts presented. If you are interested in participating. See qovf.org for more info. I am working part of the day but I will be sewing the rest of the day!
I am linking up with Crazy Mom Quilts for Finish it up Friday and Sarah At Confessions of a Fabric Addict for:

I’m in AL, and our lives did come to a standstill these last few days. If we got snow like the Mi we would freak out! 🙂 loved the comparison. Hugs,
Beautiful QOV. I like the tan in it. Thanks for the joke. 🙂
I really like how this one finished. Your quilting is amazing!
I’m laughing like crazy,I live in the Chicago area and we are getting another 6-8 inches tomorrow which on the upside is a sewing day for me! Your quilt is really nice, love the colorway and the quilting.
Gotta love those Southerners and snow. Living in Washington, DC I get a lot of “snow days” that would barely elicit a blink of an eye in Michigan. But hey, if it means getting to stay home and sew, bring on that 1″ of snow. 🙂
Great quilt and funny picture 😉
Try not to laugh…so funny! We live in OK but are from The NW and I get a kick out of people down here who freak out because of a little snow!
Cool pattern you did a fantastic job with this one!
