Work in Progress Wednesday

I finished piecing the cross top yesterday morning.

Then I went looking for a backing fabric.

I had to do a bit of piecing to make it big enough. I got the backing loaded into the frame.

Now I need to decide which panto to use. These are the ones I am considering.

These are all from Urban Elementz.

I also worked a bit on the binding of my vintage top that I quilted on Monday.

Before I go, I thought I would share one important quilting tool for me.

I spent nearly 7 hours on my feet Monday quilting this last quilt. I forgot to put on my Crocs before started. Big mistake! My anti-fatigue mats are not enough. These shoes make a huge difference to me.

I am linking up with Lee at Freshly Pieced for WIP Wednesday.

your modern crosses are beautiful — I love the blocky swirl one for the panto because all your lines on the front are straight.

I’m a huge fan of crocs too. I can put them on in the morning and go all day. I like the different quilt designs you showed. Have a great day!
