Saturday…..sigh….

It has been a glorious week with Daughter #2 but alas, she flies back to Arizona today. Sniff, sniff…

I did get a bit of sewing done in odd moments this week.

I got my Farmers Wife blocks together. I decided not to add anymore blocks after all. Now I am auditioning borders.

I am also starting to think about a red and white quilt.

I am thinking about using this 6″ 60 degree diamond die.

The piecing would be simple but I think the quilting would be fun. It would become another QOV.

Here is a pic of Daughter #2 and me on her last day here.

I miss her already! I am so proud of my airman!

I have been dreaming of a red and white quilt also, and will enjoy watching your progress. Great picture of you and your daughter, too.

  4. I love that picture of the two of you. I’ve done so many blue and white quilts … I need to do a red and white … I can’t wait to see yours come together … perhaps I’ll be inspired to start mine. πŸ˜‰

That is a great pic of the two of you. I’m glad you had such a good time together. I love anytime with my children when they come to visit.
