I was making great progress this morning; but now…
Yeah, that happened. Eight times it happened! I will show you the problem.

Not supposed to be mirror images. It might not seem to matter in a block like this:

However, it can really mess up your pressing sequence. If I make all the blocks the same way, I have a lot less seams to match.
All the offending units have now been ripped and resewn.
But not without a few grumbles….


Must be something in the air…I had a major booboo today too. No seam ripper will save this one, this goof is a start over. So 70 of the 100 units are almost complete. I will persevere! Keeps us humble. 😉
Oh I sooo know the pain. I have been working on a Mario quilt for great nephew. Can’t tell you how many times I put the wrong color in where another color is to go. Or getting the row stitched and find the seam didn’t match. Sometimes I wonder why I love this hobby so much. LOL!!!!!
