Slow Stitching Sunday

I am finally starting some Christmas sewing. I got two of the dog beds finished yesterday and have two more to go. Yesterday, I showed the quilting on the front and this is the bottom:

I decided a simple meander would be fast and wouldn’t compete with the plaid.

I also got out this kit that I have been saving.

Remember these? I had one when I was a kid and I made them for my kids when they were small. Now they are hugely popular again. I thought I would make them for my upcoming grand babies. If you are squeamish, look away now!

A whole box full of monkey parts!

They are all ready for the hand sewing that I hope to do today.

I am linking up with Kathy for Slow Stitching Sunday. Click on over to see what others are stitching today.
