Daughter #3 and I had a great trip but it is always good to be home. My sisters and I always check out the treasures at Good Will when we get together and this trip was no exception. I found this partially finished cross stitch quilt top.

Only this row of the middle section needs to be finished. But all of the border stitching is left to do.

I also found this unused vintage cotton sheet.

And this king sized duvet cover.

My greatest treasure though was free! My sisters MIL has been cleaning out her mothers home. She gave me this enamel top table!

The wooden parts need to be repainted but I just love it! I have another one that I use for my studio cutter.

I leave you with a couple photos I took while crossing the Mackinaw Bridge on the way home yesterday.

I love to see what I can find to repurpose at the thrift stores too. Love the vintage sheet and the partly finished quilt top you found. The table your sister brought you is perfect as well. I would say even without those things, just being with your sister was a day well spent.
I always look forward to your daily posts, and loved this one about your “finds” and the pictures of Mackinaw Bridge. I grew up in Flint, Michigan during the fifties, when it was a thriving town with great schools, so any mention of Michigan brinds back great memories.
Thrift shopping is such fun. Love the enameled table. My grandmother had the same sort of table in her kitchen. Wish I had it. :o) You scored some goodies.
Oh, that unfinished top is to DIE for!! And that enamel top table with the center drawer is SUCH a nice addition to your sewing room. (You lucky dog!)
What fabulous finds. I love the vintage sheet and duvet cover.
Wow! Love all your finds, but I have to say that enamel table is really something special! =D
