I paper pieced these blocks on freezer paper. It was not such a good idea. It was very hard to remove the paper.

The little bits in the braid are about 1/4″ wide. This quilt was published in a magazine but I can’t remember now which one.
Hope you enjoyed Day 4 of the parade! Come back tomorrow for the last day of my small quilt parade.

Happy Sunday!

Every one of your little quilts are beautiful! They are all so earthy feeling and warm. The fabrics and colors in the hexie quilt are happy colors and fabrics and the lavender background is perfect for this quit. I like how you added a little bit of red in the bottom star of the snowball quit.

  3. Thanks, Katy! Once you’ve posted tomorrow, I’ll share all these small quilts with my small quilt group. We’ll be making minis next year for our local guild challenge.
