Hexies

I got quite a bit more done on the hexie project on the trip home on Monday. I pieced the tan diamonds for the next row and added th top row to the main piece. I have one more row of dark diamonds to add and then need to decide what to do from there.

Someone asked about preparing the hexagons. I do not use English Paper piecing. I mark my seam lines and do traditional piecing, here is the back of one diamond so you can see my piecing and pressing.

No sewing yesterday but I did manage to load a top for Quilts Beyond Borders.
