A belated Frame Friday

Finally, after more than two weeks, I have something loaded on the frame!
It took longer than I thought to decide on borders:

In the end, I decided to go with simple.

Tomorrow hubby and I are heading out on vacation so today I must get ready. First on the agenda? Dealing with lots of these:

If I get enough work done today, I might get back to that quilt on the frame!

Your work will be sew appreciated! I spoke to the person who coordinates our local guild’s Quilts of Valor program a couple days ago. She said that the men who received the quilts were overwhelmed with emotion, unable to adequately express their gratitude. It’s so very important to recognize the sacrifice of these heros and their families, especially since it does not end when they return home with incredible emotional baggage, families who need to be reacquainted with a changed person and difficulties finding employment. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
