The flu has kept me from accomplishing much this week. I did get my 8 swap blocks done the other day but that is it sewing wise.
I did spend part of the day yesterday shopping with Daughter #1.

I love it when I get the chance to hang out with her!
And yesterday was my anniversary. My hubby brought home these:

Aren’t they beautiful? He’s a keeper! We also went out to dinner and then enjoyed an evening by the fire. I am so thankful that God put us together. Our 27 years have been filled with ups and downs but there isn’t anyone I would rather share the journey with.
And because every quilting blog needs quilt pictures, here is a small quilt I made several years ago. Lately, I have been using it on my kitchen table. The fabrics are all reproduction prints and the squares measure 1″ finished. It looks a little wonky to me, might have been a PMS quilt. Regardless, I like it. Reminds me that things don’t have to be perfect to have value.

Looks like a beautiful day today!
This is the day The Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Ps. 118:24

Congrats. Your husband is a keeper.. Love the postage stamp red white and blue quilt. Awesome..
Happy Anniversary!!!
Your daughter is absolutely adorable! Sorry to hear about your bout with the flu. I’m just glad you were over it in time to celebrate your anniversary with your loving husband. He’s a keeper, indeed.
Congratulations on your wedding anniversary. Mine is on Monday. =)
