Yesterday was a full day. I drove down to Lansing for a QOV sew day and came home to make dinner and finish the batik quilt.
It. Is. Finished.

I put it on my bed this morning to take some pictures and the quilting DOES show in the morning light.

The last two pictures show the truest color, though not exact. It is more purple. My bed is queen size and the quilt is not centered on it. I hope to get some better pictures before I mail it out on Monday. Hope she likes it!

I’m sure she loved it! Love the bright pinks…they really pop the quilt! The quilting is inspiring too!
Oh, Katy, it is SO pretty – she will LOVE it! And the quilting really does look marvelous.
Beautiful!!
Oh my word!! It’s amazing. She’s sure to love it.
You did a beautiful job! Love it!
That is very pretty. It has been fun watching your progress
Great quilt, she will love it.
Great finish! The quilting texture is great and I LOVE that backing fabric! Curious what batting you used? This has not been washed, right?
Is QOV in Lansing open to all sewers? I live just west of Lansing, I would be interested in finding a group that gets together occasionally to do such a project. Thanks Judy
