Hallelujah! It is finished

Yesterday was a full day. I drove down to Lansing for a QOV sew day and came home to make dinner and finish the batik quilt.

It. Is. Finished.

I put it on my bed this morning to take some pictures and the quilting DOES show in the morning light.

The last two pictures show the truest color, though not exact. It is more purple. My bed is queen size and the quilt is not centered on it. I hope to get some better pictures before I mail it out on Monday. Hope she likes it!

Is QOV in Lansing open to all sewers? I live just west of Lansing, I would be interested in finding a group that gets together occasionally to do such a project. Thanks Judy
