I finished quilting this QOV this afternoon and bound and washed it this evening. The quilting on this was a challenge for me and for a while, I wasn’t sure I would like it at all. But washing and a bit of shrinkage can hide a multitude of sins!

The back is white and I love the way the sun shone through hen I took this picture tonight.

I still need to make a label and sew the presentation case. I am really happy this is off the frame!
I am linking up with Confessions of a Fabric Addict and also linking up with Connie at Free Motion by the River. Check to see what others are working on!

I did read your answer about no pattern available however, if you should decide to release one, I would love to purchase one. Thank you.
There is no pattern available.
My grandma loves this quilt and would love to make it! What is the pattern?
The quilt is beautiful, and the shot with the light shining through it is amazing! Nice quilting too! Whoop whoop for you!!
Oh, it’s so pretty. Your thumbnail really didn’t do it justice. Glad I clicked!
It looks great. Love the quilting..
Beautiful quilting on a beautiful quilt! Isn’t it wonderful when you first pull your quilt from the dryer and see how neat it looks! Thanks for sharing.

It is just beautiful. The back is as much fun to look at as the front. Someone will be blessed to have this beauty.
I love this quilt and your quilting sets it off very nicely. I like how the sun shone through it too!!
Wonderful quilt. The person who gets it will be amazed.
It’s fabulous, Katy. You should be proud of it.
I think it looks terrific!
Oh, Katy, this is really gorgeous! Someone is going to be very happy.
Very pretty QOV quilt! Nice quilting too.
To answer your question on my blog: I don’t do any strip cutting with my studio, all with the rotary cutter. I mostly have triangle dies.
Looks wonderful.
Oh what a treasure that is going to be. Wonderful quilting!!
