I have been part of the Small Quilt Talk group on yahoo for a little while now. Recently, there has been quite a buzz about the new book 101 Small Quilts.
I got my copy yesterday at the library.
I opened it up at the back ( as I am wont to do with quilt books) and was greeted with a strangely familiar sight!
No, I have never laid eyes on this exact quilt but it is a miniature version of a quilt I published in 1998 in QUILT magazine!

Apparently, tis true that there is nothing new under the sun!
Having said that, it is a lovely book but it does make me go hmmmmm…….

WOW i can imagine your surprise, Katy!! Btw your quilt is gorgeous, what a great way to use up all those scraps. I received my copy in the mail yesterday and i definitely want to make this little quilt :))) cheers… Marian
The longer you look at quilts the more you know is true, don’t you? I keep seeing things given new names, but it’s the same pattern.
Hey, I’ve got that issue of the magazine. I will have to dig it out. Hugs
It’s hard to believe that your quilt didn’t inspire the small version. In looking over your blog you sure seem to get a lot done!
