A migraine this weekend meant not as much progress as I would have liked. I did manage to get 12 of these blocks together for a Quilt of Valor Friday night.
I still need to add borders and it will be ready for quilting. I need to buy more batting first though.
Today i felt much better and started piecing these tumblers together.
I cut these out at the same time I cut the pieces for the Bowtie wedding quilt.
While I sewed, I watched a wonderful BBC series called Larkrise to Candleford. I am loving having Amazon Prime to watch BBC series on my Kindle Fire. I think my sister has made a convert out of me!

Both quilts look great. I love the solid white contrasted with all the fabrics on the tumbler quilt. I’ve never heard of Larkrise to Candleford, but I love BBC shows. They seem to be such higher quality than most of what’s on TV in the states.

The QOV is fabulous looking. You got a lot of tumblers sewn together. Did you cut those with one of the tumbler rulers out now?
I am feeling the urge to do a tumbler quilt, but hate the idea of cutting them out! Cutting is the worst!!
