Eh…..not so much…

Okay, so I finished my block a day February project. The spray chalk worked well and washed out completely. However, it revealed my truly awful machine quilting in the borders. Yuck!

In the interest of full disclosure, here it is, wobbles and all. And there are worse spots. Oh well. I hung it up anyway.

Onward and upward. I could have done a much better job on my domestic machine but if I never practice, I won’t get any better at the mid-arm machine. I think there is a lesson in there somewhere.
Until next time…

I think it looks great! I struggle with control in machine quilting. I’ve heard it takes loads of practice, which I haven’t been able to manage.

  2. Your quilt is lovely and, honestly, unless you point out the mistakes, no one will notice! Keep practicing and it will get better.
