I enjoyed a very relaxing weekend with the family. It was Daughter #3’s birthday and we went shopping to celebrate. The place she wanted to go was an hour away so I dug out my sock knitting. I started this pair last September when I traveled to Arizona and finally finished this weekend!

The yarn is a very soft bamboo blend. I am no great sock knitter but I enjoy it!
I also started on my next pair. I hope to finish these in under a month. That is my goal anyway.
And I made a decision regarding these blocks:

I am moving these off the design wall and sending them on to a Quilt of Valor coordinator in another state who is having a QOV block drive.
Until next time…

Your socks look great. I admire people who know how to make them. And your QOV blocks are wonderful too. I’m very much involved in QOV, so if you ever have any blocks or tops that you want to send my way, just let me know. Check out some of the recent ones on my blog when you have time.
Thanks! Socks aren’t so bad, you just have to keep following the directions even if they don’t make sense at the time! Eventually they will :).
Great looking socks! Just started getting back into knitting after many years. Have never done socks – they seem so complicated to me!
Thanks for dropping by earlier – your sweet comments make my day.
Have a good week & Happy Stitching!
