….these:
Why, you make more of these:
The smaller ones are a great size for coin purses and the slightly larger ones are the right size for a digital camera. These little bags are like potato chips, you can’t stop at one! I am doing a “pay it forward” challenge with some friends in which you have to send a handmade item to several people. I am going to send some of these. I got the zippers at the thrift shop for 19 cents each! Again, I used machine quilting sample pieces as in the ones I posted earlier.
If anyone is interested, I will post a tutorial on how to make these though you may be able to figure it out from the pictures.
Until next time….

Hi Katy, I hail from Australia and consider my home country the best in the world :-). Lived in Chicago for 2 years while at Bible College and enjoyed a driving vacation across the country to California. Have vivid memories of our time spent in the US even though this was a very long time ago.
Enjoyed reading your postings. I have several zips sitting idle in a box and this would be a great way of putting them to good use. Also this would be a good way to practice free motion quilting and using these pieces to make cute purses. Would like to receive a few instructions if you have the time. I think it is a rectangle with the zip sewn in and then the side seams sewn from different points. Thank you in advance.
